Jim Jensen

Owner of Fit for Life.

Associate of Arts degree with honors in Adaptive Fitness from Foothill College.

Advanced certification as a Corrective Exercise Specialist by (NASM).

Certified YMCA Active Older Adult Exercise Instructor.

Member of IDEA Health & Fitness Association.

Extensive experience training clients with multiple sclerosis and in wheel chairs.

BS in Environmental Planning and Management from UC Davis.

Ran cross country and played baseball in highs school. Been involved with personal fitness entire life.

Has two daughters, 18 and 23.

Loves hiking, trail running, skiing, working out in his home gym, dancing, photography, wildlife and music (trumpet player in the West Bay Community Band.)

Katie Erickson, ACSM-CPT

Katie Erickson

Received her Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University in the field of Kinesiology, concentrating in Exercise Science.

Ran for Club Cross-Country team in college, and continues to run marathons.

Experience working with adults of varying skill-levels (hospital rehabilitation, personal training for pre/post-menopausal women, completely sedentary all the way to highly active individuals).

Experience working with elite athletes (NCAA Division I athletes from JMU participating in Human Physiological research, NCAA Division I athletes from Stanford University needing Physical Therapy and/or biomechanical feedback).

High school cross-country runner, soccer player, and accomplished rower for the Los Gatos Rowing Club.

Enjoys hiking, cooking, traveling, kickboxing, yoga, and spending time with her family.

Studied for 4 years in this field and is happy to be bringing it all to life!

Keith Lee, NASM-CPT

Keith Lee

Received his B.S. in Business from the University of San Francisco .

Races triathlons competitively for Team Lombardi Sports in San Francisco.

Ran Cross-County competitively at the Varsity level in 2002 and 2003 for the University of San Francisco (NCAA Division I)

Ran Track competitively at the Varsity level in 2003 for the University of San Francisco (NCAA Division I)

Ran Cross-County competitively at the Varsity level in 2001 for the College of San Mateo.

Runs a basketball open gym at the San Mateo Boys and Girls Club.

High School cross-country runner, soccer player, tennis, and swimmer.

Enjoys spending time with his family and friends, rock climbing, kickboxing, yoga, snowboarding, traveling, cooking, and the outdoors.

Chris Peters

MA in Kinesiology from San Jose State University.

BA in Communication Studies from CSU-Sacramento.

Adult CPR and First Aid Basics through the American Red Cross.

Fitness testing with San Jose Sharks.

Former strength coach San Jose Lasers.

Extensive experience in baseball, basketball, tennis, racquetball, running 10Ks, weightlifting, Frisbee, hacky-sack.

Loves life, music, live symphony concerts, sports, urban hiking, meditation, finding great restaurants, nature, trees, old movies, pancakes and his 5 year-old son Alex.
